Pear Sauce

8 pears; peeled, cored, and cut into 1 inch cubes

1/4 cup water

2 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Combine pears, water, lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until pears have softened, about 25-30 minutes.image1 e1549118343449 - Pear Sauce
